Preview edition. No giveaway is open, no offers in the sample artwork are redeemable through this edition, and no ad reservations or form submissions are being accepted. Launch terms must be reviewed before this notice is removed.

The giveaway

The draft rules for the $500 in Local Favorites giveaway — eligibility, the drawing, the prize and how the winner is notified — are on the entry page: draft giveaway rules. Once finalized, those rules govern the giveaway; this page doesn't.

The directory

Listings are free and we check the details with the business before publishing them. Even so, things change: a phone number moves, a shop closes, hours shift. Treat a listing as a good-faith pointer, not a guarantee, and tell us if something is wrong so we can fix it.

A listing is not an endorsement. We don't vet the quality of anyone's work, and being on the card means a business bought a slot, not that we vouch for them.

If your business is listed and you'd rather it wasn't, ask and we'll take it down.

Coupons and offers

Every offer on this site is the business's own, honoured by that business, on the terms and expiry date shown. If one isn't honoured, tell us — we'd want to know, and it affects whether that offer runs again. We don't publish an offer a business hasn't agreed to in writing.

Advertising

Prices shown are for the specified ad size on a single card and are current at the date above. Category exclusivity applies to one issue at a time: buying the plumbing slot on one card doesn't reserve it on the next. Artwork deadlines and mail dates are confirmed with each advertiser directly before anything prints, and are shown on the advertise page once an issue's dates are set. A slot is held once it's confirmed with us directly.

The design, copy and photographs here belong to Hollywood Park & Hill Country Village Spotlight or to the businesses that supplied them. Business names and logos belong to those businesses. You're welcome to link to anything on the site.
